Effortless Two-Handed Backhand - Introduction
In this module we will be diving deep into the two handed backhand and learning how to move the racket and the body in a way that makes the stroke smooth, efficient, and easy on the body. The goal is to build a backhand that feels connected and coordinated so that power and control come from efficient movements rather than from effort.
We will look at how to prepare and load for the shot, how to use weight transfer and rotation to let the body generate easy power, and how to finish the stroke so that the motion feels natural, repeatable, and allows you to recover efficiently for the next ball.
We will also cover grips, spacing, and footwork patterns, including how to use both open and closed stances and how to adapt each one to different situations, including when hitting a return of serve.
As with the other modules, I will continue to add more content over time. We will go deeper into the details of the two handed backhand and expand into other areas of the game as the course grows. I would love to hear your feedback on this video, and if you have any questions or want me to cover anything else, just let me know.
